Not to brag or anything, but Liz’s homemade pumpkin spice lattes are the best! She uses fresh pumpkin puree, raw milk (almond milk for me!), freshly brewed coffee, and pumpkin pie spice.
Try it for yourself! (Serves 2)
-Brew: a cup of strong coffee (we use a French press)
-Heat until bubbly: 2 Tbsp fresh pumpkin puree with 1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice (or more if you’re feeling adventurous), a dash of black pepper, and 1/4 cup sugar
-Add: 2 cups milk of your choice to pumpkin mixture
-Froth: pumpkin mixture (in a blender) until smooth
-Pour: 1/3 cup hot coffee into each mug, and add hot pumpkin mixture
-Top it off with whipped topping and an additional sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice
-Enjoy!
